Have this. Don't waste your money. It was given to me as a gift from Tractor Supply 2 years ago and it was 30 bucks cheaper than this.

While the drill itself is acceptable for light duty, the batteries are terrible. They don't hold a charge and even when fully charged will last about 10 minutes of moderate use.

POS POS POS. Terrible. I owned one, never again.
Now I have a Hitachi. Had a Black & Decker that lasted for 8 years. Oh, did I tell you, this is a POS? It is a POS.

Have one of those Black & Decker 18v sets, and the drill was not powerful enough, so I bought one of these at Costco for ~$60. It sucked, the batteries take forever to charge (though they claim 1 hour), and die quickly as #1 stated. But more importantly, I could not get the damn thing to drill all the way through a 2x4 without getting stuck!

Took it back and bought a corded Skil 1/2" for $54 at Lowes. For when I need to drill all the way through a piece of wood.

Got one of these at Costco. Battery life is dismal (there was even a safety recall for some units). On a full charge, would not bore through a 4x4 pressure treated beam. I had to finish the job with my trusty DeWalt drill. Ok to use as a second drill for lighter work (and I mean very light) and to avoid bit swapping, but if you do any serious work, you'd better get a real drill.

for a cheap drill I really like the ryobi. they come in many sizes at home depot. Had a black and decker quantum that was a POS.(this 12v was way weaker than the ryobi 7v!). I got a used dewalt off ebay that I have been VERY happy with.

No happy ending if you buy one of these.
And did I mention this is a POS?
It is a POS. I had trouble keeping my testosterone levels up as soon as I took it out of the box. I could'nt even recommend this to my worst canal cowboy friends.

Kawasaki makes two different drills; one is a POS and the other is fair. I have both a Hitachi and a Ryobi and love them both. The Hitachi is lighter and charges in 20 minutes. The Ryobi is slightly stronger but takes longer to charge. The new Ryobi can take either the ni-cad or new ion batteries.

Don't bother with the Kawasaki pos.

You guys are silly; Kawasaki is a Motorcycle not a drill. That's where the problem is. Maybe you should try to ride it instead of drilling with it!

    LOL
