I have yet to hear about KDS... what kind of quality do they sport? and a 26" with that resolution wouldn't be that great. I'd prefer a 22" or 24" with that resolution.
i had a kds crt 7 years ago....died within 2 years
KDS is solid I've had an LCD for 2+ years and is solid.
#5 where did you buy a solid crystal display from? i've only seen the lcd variety in the shops...
I have this right now (I'v had it since April), it's been work beautifully. Bought for $399 back then.
KDS works fine but they don't have so good support. I have had a KDS for 2 years but the stopped releasing drivers and the windows xp color profiles don't work for Vista that well. Just a thought since I know they will be pushing for windows 7 soon.
I always buy electronics with my American Express Costco Rebate card. It doubles the manufacturer's warranty for up to 3 years.
I'm in NJ. So Newegg requires Tax. I'll wait until $300 including all.
