I think that the basic Amana 3.4 ft.3 washer was 299 at Best Buy 2 wks. ago. Home Depot also has them. I believe Maytag (not the great old Maytag we all remember) makes them.
Maytag was never great. Must find out who actually makes these models. If not Whirlpool like the old Kenmore, then avoid.
