Newegg has the Keurig B31 Mini Plus Personal Coffee Brewer (Black or Platinum) for $100 - 20% off with coupon code KEURIG20 + $5 shipping = $85 shipped. Features a removable drip tray, auto shut-off, brews in under two minutes, and brews coffee for 6, 8, or 10 ounce cups.
If you drink a lot of coffee and prefer all the same flavor/type at once then this is not the coffee maker for you. However, if you drink only one maybe two cups and like a lot of variety then Keurig may be the way to go. If you shop around enough on line you can purchase the K-Cups for around $0.50/each in bulk and they have dozens and dozens of flavors, including cocoas and teas. You can even use this to make iced coffee.
However, this particular brewer is the small size which makes it good for travelling, a very small kitchen or on your work desk. You have to add water for each cup you brew unlike the larger ones that have a reservoir you can keep filled. What you lose in convenience you make up for in saving space.
My wife has the larger B70 and loves it. Every few months I buy a few variety boxes of all different flavors for her. Every morning it's something new.
This mini-brewer was never one of the Keurigs that had problems - there was a quaility control issue several years back with the larger models that has since been overcome. The mini has been rock solid since it first came out.
Just picked up the "Platinum" version about a month ago and I am loving it! I used to have one at work, which got me hooked. Being the nice son that I am, I got my parents one for Christmas two years ago. They love it, too! Returning the favor, they recently gave one to me as a birthday gift.
I don't care too much about the variety, but my girlfriend does. I still think it would be great even if she didn't. Just the convenience of throwing my travel mug under it, throwing in a fresh K-Cup, hitting a button and walking away to grab my things for work is awesome! All with no waste and minimal cleaning!
