A very, very expensive way to brew coffee.
Actually your right ptcmini... they do break down very often but as of now if you contact Keurig they will send you a new and improved model and it has been much better! Very happy with the improved model, making me glad to own this again.
Filter the water you use in the machine. Descale it on a regular schedule. Even with 4 heavy coffee drinkers it should last over a year. Plus Keurig will send you the newest model when it fails. Coffee is still twice as much as drip...
If you like dark flavorful coffee I recommend Dark Magic and Double Black Diamond. Even Folgers Black Silk is decent out of a Keurig.
