Looks like the reviews haven't been great, but haven't been bad either (except for the one at TechCrunch).

Btw, Ben please fix the search. Thanks.

Single core, known to be slow. No physical memory expansion. No access to Google Market. Month to month cloud storage pricing structure.

It is the regular price. It is just an announcement of its release. It has a dual core SoC.
The Nook Tablet has a better screen and expandable memory. The KF has Amazon behind it. Hard to say what is a better choice.

This is great for people who like to have everything simplified. Like an Ipad it will have a structured use. Amazon will be your leader just like Itunes. Its not a bad thing, great for people who are not super tech savy. I'm happy with my pair of $150 HP Touchpads, just waiting for a more stable version of Android for them, but WebOS works for now as a decent web surfer. a Friend has a Galaxy with the 7" screen, its okay but kinda small for surfing. to each his own they say.

On a side note, people sure are posting alot more recently, giveaways tend to do that. lol

I think the Nook Color still has the edge at the low-end.l
