$100 is the normal price for a Kinect. You are better off buying a bundle with the upcoming Black Friday. The already sale price for it is $200 from Amazon and Best Buy. When BF comes, it will probably be cheaper.
As for space, #1. A room will do the job. It is the Kinect, not a Wii. That is what make it awesome. With the Wii, all you have to do is move your hands. With the Kinect, you literally need to move your whole body. Each person needs at least their arms length on both side.
Playing this was awesome, until mother decide to replace the carpet with tile. Now it is a REAL workout to play it. And my feet really hurts...Whoever said playing video games never physically hurt you is an rodeo cowboy!
