    Wonder if the speed has improved in these at all. They were fine for storage, but annoying slow writes for actual use.

    Various versions of DT100 series are basically the same. For higher speed try Kingston DT150 series.

    This is fast enough. Just plan accordingly; want to get there an hour early, then leave an hour early.

    I have a 8gb version of this model that is unreliable.
    how do I get it replaced under the warranty? I bought it in a local store

    nah its an ok deal. you can get it for a few bucks cheaper elsewhere.
