Heh, I think I've figured out why there are all these new $10 w/free shipping deals coming out from Buy.com...

GCO and Buy.com have teamed up to catch all of Ben's users that were taking advantage of the $10 coupon for new GCO customers and they figured the best way to catch us is to entice us with free or almost free items. Those dirty, rotten bastards. Worse yet, Ben dropped the crumbs for us to follow.

I got two of these last time they were offered, arrived yesterday. Took Buy.com almost a week to ship.

These are the full retail blister pack. Good Deal.

how would google prevent people from repeating the GCO $10 off $10 promotion? theoretically a person can have infinitely many gmail account, and many credit cards as well (or just simply use virtual card number). Billing address is not reliable, so.. how else would they stop people from repeatedly taking that $10 off $10? Anybody knows anything about this?

#4. I ordered from Buy.com last week and got it 3 days after. It was a quick shipment and in new and perfect retail package.

They will check whether your gmail account reliable, which means whther you use it often. Also, they don't ship the same household that used New google checkout before.

hMMm... so each "ship address" can only use GCO once is that what you're saying? hmM... it's possible that a household can have multiple people living in there, such as students sharing an apartment. I didn't think they'd use the shipping address as part of the validation.

I used GC with a new email address, but the same billing info, same shipping info, same name, etc. It worked fine.

Then you better be the first one in your homeless shelter to take advantage of the deal.

Just wait till all you fhags get blacklisted from Google Checkout like the few of us that have posted here have. Then you won't be talking so much stupid baconnaise further prooving that you are complete baconeer.

GCO cancels all my orders now no matter if I use a new credit card or not. I don't know how they are tracking me, but they are doing it and it sucks not being able to take advantage anymore.

Yep, once they catch on it's all over. I used GC many times, then one day, no more. Used new Gmail account, new CC, no worky. So then one day I snagged my wifes CC, used her name, new gmail account. Got the cancellation since we live at the same address. Great while it works, but once you're flagged it's all over. At least to your address. Man, and I miss GC.

Buy.com sucks. I bought a black Zune in mid November and they never shipped it. I have contacted them a dozen times and all the people in India can say is that they have "filed a claim with Henry".

fbt - they're tracking you by scent. If it smells like human excrement, they know it is you.
