    No cache, ignore it. Despite these drives not having moving parts, it still needs the benefit of front end cache. This drive has abysmally slow speeds anyway. Do yourself a favor and buy a raptor drive if you're throwing this in a desktop, you'll get the same performance and at least twice the capacity. If you're buying for a laptop, buy something else.

    My netbook came w/ a 16 gig SSD and it is real slow. I thought these things are supposed to be lightning fast.

    This one isn't great at all. You have to get an SSD that supports TRIM, otherwise it will degrade quickly over time. I have an OCZ Agility 120GB and in love with it since I first installed it. Windows 7 boots up in about 12s and Photoshop loads up in under 3s. It's a great investment; much better than the velociraptor, but that's a great alternative. (;

    #3 is right...gotta get a drive that supports TRIM (OCZ or Intel are good). I think only Windows7 can do TRIM?

    Not a great choice here. Think I'll wait for the price to drop on these SSDs anyway.

    this drive is good enough for standard user. I have one, it isn't ultra fast, but it is faster than standard HDD
