BEN blew it again this it DDR2 yes 3200 but its DDR2
will not work on older systems that need DDR 3200
#1, what did u mean by "BEN blew it again"?
the title says DDR2. i don't see a prob.
note in ben's post: "PC3200 DDR 400MHz Memory Kit"
that should read "PC2-3200 DDR2"
Exactly how many motherboards require DDR2 of a speed PC2-3200 or lower? And if it does require that, why not get some PC2-6400 for $30 and run it at the slower speed?
Damn, I thought it was regular DDR
ic #3
ddr2 pc3200= garbage
I don't remember ever seeing such a low speed DDR2. #3 is right, just get cheaper 6400's.
Ben should just delete this post. Confuses People. Brought peoples hopes up and then knock it down.
My cat's name is mittens.
Some people are not aware of this.. It does'nt matter if this is a DDR2,DDR5 DDR10 PC3200 400mhz. This memory is for newer computer that require 240pin.. any 240pin will fit and work on newer computer.. Now, the older system require 184 pin.. That what were all hoping for, and 2x1gb PC3200 400mhz 184 pin will cost about 85.00 bucks. if you know where to look.. as for the 240pin is about 15 bucks each.. I bought some two month ago, HP brands. cost 3 bucks each after 20 bucks rebates with free shipping. I got 5. and got my 100 bucks rebates check a month later.. Kingston make pretty good memory, usually come's with Low Denisty. good over clocking memory..
well #10. The only computers that can use pc2 3200 memory is the e4xxx, pentium e21xx, celeron e1200 or those god forsaken outdated pentium IV 775 chipset computers. And no you can't overclock your computer because the memory doesn't allow you to. So anybody with 1/2 of a brain would buy the pc2 6400 memory for less that what you can get these for.
