Why does anybody even make cards less than class 6 today, to save 20 cents? Kingston probably has a time machine so they can go back to 2004 to get these slow-ass chips.
Classes are not set values as to the actual performance of the cards.
A class 4 can easily transfer faster then the 4mb as slated in the classes.
I usually get 10mb+ a sec transfers using class 2 and 4 cards.
That being said, most devices wont require super fast speeds for operation. So I dont see the big deal.
I would avoid kingston as I have had several problems with them failing or just not working in devices.
low class.
beware of Buy.com and their shady rebates. Read the fine print before you buy any of their products as the dates on their rebates may not apply to your product.
Buy.com took my order and never processed it. I did not get 3 people their christmas gifts on time.
I see 10 bucks for 4gb alot, Nice thing about these SCHC most card reader can read it.. I own alot of Kingston products, Not bad at all, especially Memory. All works..

Sure, but many class 6 cards outperform that spec too. The point is you don't know what you are getting, Kingston is notorious for buying up surplus lots of cards and memory modules to the extent if you bought exact same product a month earlier from a different retailer, forget about any assumptions it is the same thing.
10MB/s transfers are terrible, the industry went beyond this even before the move to SDHC. The whole point of removable memory vs built-in is you have access on other devices like readers. Who wants to wait several more minutes on a multi-GB card so Kingston can pocket a little more of your money? If they were substantially cheaper then the cheaptards would have that excuse, but they aren't.
If you want to pay the same for a slower card, be our guest but it makes no sense to many of us.
i bought one of these a while back for 10 bucks, this isn't much of a deal.
its like getting 8GBs for $19
