Kingston.com has the Kingston 8GB DataTraveler USB 2.0 Flash Drive for $32 with free shipping. It has a new retractable-connector design, and is covered by a 5-year warranty. [BizRate]

    5 year warranty?

Not very valuable...the world will end on 12/21/12.

I just ordered one of these 8GB sticks. I rec'd a 2GB model from buy.com for $10 shipped and it has been really useful so for $32 plus the 5 year warranty I think its a nice deal.

I got it last two weeks for $40, the average reading and writing speed is 8mb, it's good for transfer data, not fast enough for daily use

I bought the 4GB, a few weeks ago and no problems with transfers. What I like best is that there is no cap to worry about falling off.

Godless is right. Transfer a big file like a gig will make you wait for a while. Small files like word documents, mp3s, and etc... are ok.
