Amazon has the Kingston WID/32GBZ Wi-Drive 32GB Wireless Flash Storage for iOS Devices for $50 with free shipping. Features Wi-Fi wireless data storage with support for up to three iOS devices at a time with its dedicated app. Check out the Newegg product tour.
If you have a spare laptop SATA hard drive laying around, go check out the "gauntlet node" wifi hard drive case. Newegg has it (not sure when it runs out, but they had a $20 MIR on it, when I purchased it earlier this month) for $100. Slap your own hard drive in there, and download & install the free app from the company.
Worked as an easy way for me to expand the 16GB (12.5 usable) on my Kindle Fire HD. Even a small drive, like the 80GB drive I have in mine, will hold a s**tload of material. Oh, and it can stream to up to 3 devices at one time, too! Mine works great, and I can stream flawlessly.
Needs to be on the same wifi network as your Internet config. Alternatively, use ZappoTV HD app (free) and RemoteFiles app on my Ipad to stream stuff from my NAS and other shares on the home network.
If only all tablet mfrs added a $5 micro SD card slot, then there'd be no need for these things. But of course Apple/Amazon/Google won't do that 'cos they want you to stream their content, at a price. A primary advantage to buying a Samsung/Asus/Other tablet.
too small methinks.
