I have one of these and it malfunctioned saying there was not enough room on it to fit a file even though there was about 30x the room needed to fit the file. youtube downloader
I have one of these. Great device to keep let the kids watch movies on their own devices on long car trips or other places where there is no network connectivity. You can't charge it and stream movies at the same time. I'm also not sure I'd run it on an airplane, but we did use it on the auto train to Florida.
Wolf: yes, you can charge and play at the same time. You just need to turn it on after you plug it in; if it's already on when you plug it in it will turn itself off. Same thing with the competing AirStash.
@Attikai, the WiDrive is FAT32 so you can't use any files over 4GB.
I have the 64GB version of this and a goflex satellite and both are just ok. I like being able to move files onto the drive with USB3 on the goflex, but the stock firmware on the satellite sucks(I've since added modded firmware), but the size and portability of the Wi-Drive is nice.
I look forward to picking up a 1TB seagate wireless plus next month though.
