CompUSA has the Klipsch Image S4i In-Ear Headset with Mic and 3-Button Remote, Black for $100 - $30 off with coupon code BMP13591 + $2 shipping = $72 shipped. Features oval ear tips, 360-degree mic, 10Hz-19kHz frequency response, 110dB sensitivity and 18 Ohm impedance.
This is a dynamic earphone, which means it needs the "burn-in" time to let the sound quality grows. this thing normally sells about $100 and hardly on sale. last time with this kind of price was in thanksgiving. the earphone has pretty good seal. not Etymotics good, but better than most other ones. for this price, I think it's very hard to find a better one.
good sounding phones. they do go on sale once in a while but not often, so this price is rather good. The control buttons are Iphone specific and do not work correctly with my Droid phone. As far as sound seal goes - it's not great, but can be improved significantly with Comply foam tips.
#5. These have a microphone for use with your smartphone. The Monster Turbines that amazon had on their deal of the day did not. The turbines for $59 were a good deal since they normally run for $150-$180.
Kilpsch does make this same earphone without the mic, the S4. They run $80 for black and $70 for white at amazon. So the $72 for the S4i is a pretty good deal since it is rare they go on sale.
The worst aspect of this product is the electric drill bit that appears periodically from the center of the bud and telescopically extends for 3 inches while rotating at very high speed. I thought it was the high listening volume that was destroying my eardrums, but I was sadly wrong.
Does anybody know how good these headphones are?
either way, 72 is a bit too much.
Good headphones, I pay $99 a couple of months back. Great frequency response for in ear....

How does this compare to the monster turbines on amazon a while back?

Anyone?

I'd rather have A*Stars from Astro gaming.
How do these compare to the Zagg Smartbuds?
