CompUSA.com has the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speakers for $100 + shipping. Pick up in-store to save on shipping, or with free shipping on $150. These probably qualify as oldies but goodies now. [Review : BizRate]
One reviewer said it best with these words, "These will peel the paint of your walls!"
This statement has been used to describe foul breath and terrificly malodorous flatulence. I wasn't sure what to make of it but we bought these for my dad for his new pc a couple of weeks ago when they were $99 at B3St |3 |_| Y.
I bought these about 2+ years ago and they made a heck of a difference for games and music. The sub is a monster ... loud, boomy, but not loose and floppy sounding. Years ago, these were $200+, if I recall correctly. These are a steal for $100, I got mine for about $70 with shipping on Fleabay. You won't be disappointed, if you're not looking for a 5.1/6.1 system.

These rock. Get them, be happy.

Almost bought these. The sound beats anything Logitech makes. Sub is a little big for a 2.1 system.
