Page Computer has the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speakers for $88 + $22 shipping = $110 shipped. These probably qualify as oldies but goodies now. [Review : BizRate]

I would buy these in a second over the Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 2.0 that B had on here the other day.

Not much to compare it to, but these came with my HP Mediacenter and they sound pretty good. If only they were much larger and much louder with much better specs, for the same money.

Sure, when pigs fly out of my ass...would not have expected an HP having cheap-ass to be complaining about free baconnaise.

The original Klipsch promedia speakers were and are awesome. I've had a set for 4 years and have yet to find their equal. Not sure about the "ultra" series here, but they look similar to the originals.

I'm sure with that 2.5 inch driver on the Ultras you get fabulous low end response.

Highly Reccommended!! - I just checked out their site, and the new pro-media 2.1 speakers aren't really that attractive personally. Either way, these will impress you - and i'm pretty sure even w/ my friends Best Buy discount, I chunked out $120 for them. -if you're in the market, these will do the trick! Great Lows, and and a very good range from the 2 desktops. Perfect for gaming, music, movies etc. on the pc, or plug in your MP3 player...

Great speakers. I use a RCA-to-8mm plug and use them in place of crappy TV speakers; as long as you're not after surround sound, that's more than enough.

I love the Klipsch two point ones.
I paid $199 for the 1st pair about 7 years ago.
I paid $300 for two pairs about 5 years ago to split with a buddy.

I also have a set of the four point ones which aren't as good as the two point ones in my opinion.

I love these and still use a pair on my music/news computer everyday.

I have/have Klipsch home speakers as well for about 13 years. Both free standing and in wall.

I like them. Although my main set on my main PC is Logitech 5500's which are great, but lack the clear highs since no tweet.

I have yet to hear a better set of two point ones than these, although it is tough to shell out over a hundred bones for 2.1's today.
