I have the V1253 12MP version, and love it to death! It is fast, takes great pics, and is easy to use. The battery lasts a longtime, and the screen is huge! Automatically adjusts pics internally if you want it to, and honestly, it does a great job.
I am surprised to love this camera so much, since I have used a regular one so long... the Eos rebel TI SLR film camera, which I loved until now.
I would say that the newer easyshare's from Kodak are worth the money. Just get it from an online retailer that accepts returns incase for any reason you are not happy with it, but I am willing to bet you will be.
