Reviews of this camera are pretty good, but it does not work on rechargable AA batteries. A recahrgable battery pack option is available, but I like the idea of cheap reliable battery replacement. This was a deal breaker for me.
Apparently this can only take the lithium-type AA batteries, which are expensive. Unless you're willing to splurge for the battery pack, you might want to reconsider. The enclosed pack is supposed to last for 400 pictures before running out of steam.
Got this last time OM had it on sale. Great little camera, "HD" video is GREAT compared to my older Sony VGA - and the batteries last a long time. Lithium AA's are available at wally world for a decent price. Cheaper than the CRV3 pack that comes with it. Not the quickest camera - blacks out momentarily after a shot, but I like the larger grips that AA p&s camera's give you. Very satisfied for the money.
