Really too bad, since they're usually found as refurbs for nearly that price.
IMHO, this is the Kodak pocket camcorder to buy. The newer ZX5 model doesn't have any better specs (video or photography-wise), and also has the built in battery. When the battery runs down, you have to plug it in to recharge. With the ZX3, you can carry a spare battery or two, switch out for a charged battery when one goes dead, and keep going.
