    Probably more along the lines of who doesn't have a 28-80mm on their camera already. Probably more geared towards cleaning out the stock room and having a replacement since you scratched the first one Razz.

    this is likely made of POOP!!!!

    I WOULD SAY THOUGH, that sometimes artists like to use crap ass gear and say their stuff is like old style or that the ass quality of the gear ads to the photography, etc. (novely plastic cameras and stuff like this are often used)

    so if your into that, then hey cool

    or maybe you can sell it to a newb that doesn't know better

    It is a plastic base, and it's a kit lens as well. Some people like it for it's price. And some hate it for being plastic, slow and softness at open focal aperatures..
    It's cheap and good for those who want an alright zoom range at a low price. you get whatcha pay for..

    Was a kit lens. Excess stock from KM. Fits Sony now. It is, an OK lens. If you smash it while on vacation, toss in trash!
