"Supports a Maximum Resolution of 1680x1050 and screen ratio 16:10 KWorld TV Box 1680 EX has the human intelligence of identifying source signal to display the most suitable resolution from 800x600 to 1680x1050."

    I would guess 'yes'.

Specs at website and in manual indicate no 1366x768 output:

    VGA Output Resolutions 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1440x900, 1680x1050

but your display may well handle the 1024x768 or 1280x1024 and scale it. No guarantees.

Also, keep in mind that despite the "HD resolution" this is only an analog tuner.

This is an NTSC Tuner and will be obsolete for over the air signals in 2009

Yep -- I was looking for one of these over the holidays (got a 21" monitor in my guest room used as a TV but the K-World TVBOX is crapping out). Nobody seems to make an NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuner that will connect to a monitor. All such tuners are USB-based.

Don't these manufacturers realize that there are a whole bunch of 15" and 17" (and maybe even 19") LCD monitors that are no longer connected to PCs and could be turned into inexpensive TV sets?

#5/#6, several used decent RCA HD ATSC tuners can be purchased (look on Ebay or craigslist) that have either analog DVI or VGA output (15 pin D-Sub) , which can be converted to/from analog DVI. We got an old 21" CRT for $10 and hooked it up to one of these units for $50 on ebay and have been very pleased. Also look at the MyHD card for PCs, which uses hardware decoding, so can run on an old pentium and has VGA out.

So will it do Picture-in-Picture? Or do I have to give it my entire 1680 x 1050 22" LCD? Having a small VGA TV window would be kinda cool.
