I got the BC-700 for $25, and I have no complaints and no need to upgrade. Make sure you need the extra bells and whistles before you drop an extra $15-$20 for the 900.
I have this and finally bought some Eneloops this week. I normally charge my AA's at 200ma, but have heard that the current might be to low to trip the battery signal that it is full, to use 500ma each per battery instead. What do you think? Thank you and have a great holiday
Get it and you will not regret it. This is one of the best chargers around.
This is still one of my favorite toy at home.
I am planning to make a adapter so it can charge and refreash C and D cells.

The price just went up a few dollars. It has been around $36 for awhile.
I've also been happy with the $25 version. in fact, its charging my camera flash batteries right now.
#2, this model comes with C and D cell adapters, so there's no need to make them. Unless, of course, you don't actually have this charger.
I'm with #3 and #5. The BC-700 does everything I need it to do. This is one gadget that was worth every penny.
