They lift and separate!
Bought them a couple of years ago for my laptop and they work great. They lift the back of the laptop and increase air ventilation. The sticky stuff comes off easily so I had to get some more Velcro stuff to replace it. For less than a buck, its more than worth it.
Do you place these on your inner thigh or directly on the nut sack?
For those wondering, they seem to be hollow hard plastic, not rubber. Not that this makes them unsuitable in all situations but it would have been nice if the product description mentioned it.
I found that a little water splashed on my balls helps cool them down tremendously; Especially when running a fan on them too... I'd try that first before investing in a new set of balls..
