I'd stay for extra 30 mil to be called money hungry for few years, and in few years I win a championship around mediocre players and be called the greatest ever.
#22 You have to evaluate the situation. He's in a lose-lose situation going to Miami. If he wins championships, people will not give him the full credit because Wade won one and Lebron was just tagging along. If for some reasons he fails to win a championship in Miami, then people will understand why he couldn't win one in Cleveland. I guess missing a college degree will do that to a person.
This is not baseball where an Albert Pujols can turn a ball club around. A single great player can turn a basketball team around. He could have gone to the last place teams like Nets or Knicks, take more money, and propel them to playoff instantly. If he's Michael Jordan caliber then he should have no trouble winning a championship there too. But now we will never know.
How much less did he really take? Flo-rida has no state income tax. No one would have faulted him for taking more to stay in Cleveland, his hometown (sort of), and bring a championship there. That he had to team-up with a guy who's already won one tells me he knows he's not up to the task.
And I agree with #24. He's in a no-win situation. Plus he's made himself hated in his hometown/state, and people like me now want to see him fail to win a championship.
Lebron did not take less money for going to Miami. Florida has NO income tax, he's actually making more dough there! What a win win situation for himself, but he handle it poorly with no class at all with that national drama nonsense. He hurt a lot of hearts by not being sincere.
He leaves cleveland as a loser, certainly not a king. Ican't believe i heard a professional ball player - especially basketball where 1 man can literally make a team leave to hold the jockstrap of his buddy. what a loser.

he left for less money...what else do you want?
Guys who stuck out through thick and thin will always triumphs in the end, look at Kobe and MJ.

Price is $17.41 and Benedict Arnold's birth date is 1741. Coincidence? Nope!

Dan Gilbert owns Fathead.
LeBron's fathead has been marked down from 99.99 to 17.41 (the birth year of Benedict Arnold).
Awesome!
lmao
#25 Not just his hometown state. He'll be hated in NY, NJ, Chicago, and practically every cities except Miami.
I would need to buy two of these.
One to shat on and one to cover it up.
People still care about basketball? Huh.
