Won't work for me. My ears are both thick. Like my head.
I don't really get it either.
But the best way is to get a giant (60-100ml) plastic syringe, fill it with lukewarm water and a drop of handsoap, then wash out your ear canal. I do it every once in a while and it cleans everything out, wax and all.
Sounds weird but it works. I never had any problems.
I just let some shampoo lather get into my ear, wait a minute then turn my head sideways to let the shower head do the work.
I use a toilet plunger.
