Exactly who will spend that much $ on a set of Legos? Not even 40 year old men living in their parent's basement will.

Go check Ebay, sellers can't keep them in stock and they sometimes go for $500+.

This is almost a guaranteed collectors item. Still too rich for my blood.

Wish I could afford this. Must resist, but the force is too strong. Maybe I should move back in with my parents.

I don't think this is to scale with the rest of my star wars universe. It'd be pretty cool though if you rigged up one of those motion activated sprinklers but instead of water it aims a red laser pointer at targets.

I was hoping that this was going to go down with the recent release of the Super Star Destroyer at the same price point...

And for those not interested in waiting, the LEGO Fall 2011 Catalog has a 10% coupon on the back of it, however, you have to purchase from a LEGO store location. May be a wash or slightly over with your local taxes, but you don't have to wait for TRU to ship you a severly damaged one...

Men (boys), this is one of those things it's best not be on display when a girl comes over to your house...

If she suspects you of being a dork, this thing will remove all doubt in her mind...

I could afford this if I lived in my parent's basement but instead I have a mortgage to pay.

^ Can't you just rent out the basement to your kids or adopt some if necessary?
