Pro-32A AA/AAA charger... I read it too fast, I thought it's 32 AA/AAA batteries for $15... big difference. go for the Sanyo Eneloop
Never heard of this brand. Anyone know how good they are?
Similar item at walmart for about the same amount, maybe a little less.
probably a crap brand. Usually, the only good recharbles are familiar brands (energizer, etc.) and sanyo. I also have a set of kodak hybrids and they're okay.
If these are not the longer lasting charge batteries like eneloop or hybrid (and they're probably not), 2000mAh indicates old, old batteries that have probably deteriorated from lack of charge as well as age. That low a capacity for regular NiMH hasn't been made in a few years. So the question is, is the charger alone worth the price? This B grade brand has been around for a good while.
maha = best brand charger. look at the reviews.
dunno about actual batteries
Lenmar's okay, but #5 is spot-on, nobody's made 2000s for quite a while so these have probably degraded significantly in storage.
If you want to get into rechargeables, get an analyzer, it'll help you avoid the blunders that turn a lot of people away from rechargeables:

The BC-900 is ten times as useful as this Lenmar, and not even triple the price. Oh, plus it comes with eight batteries, plus a set of upsize adapters, plus a carrying bag. (Not that I've ever carried my charger in the bag, it usually just gets wrapped in a shirt and stuffed in my duffel, but I use the neat little bag for other stuff.)
Seriously, 3 of my friends have gotten their own BC-900s since playing with mine. It's an incredible little toy, and gives you surprising insight into how your batteries are actually performing, which you didn't even realize you didn't know.
Case in point: I just borrowed an MFJ antenna analyzer from a ham friend. He warned me that the batteries were shot and it didn't run very long on a charge. I ran all the batteries through a test cycle on my BC-900 and here are the capacities I came up with:
1853 1971 2010 2210 167 99 174 2090 185 2060
For a bunch of 2000's, I think we found four shot ones! But not so fast, I ran those four through a Refresh cycle, which took three days but afterward they all tested out above 1800, right back in the pack with the others. So there's no need to replace them after all, though a periodic refreshing (once or twice a year?) wouldn't hurt.
But here's the ... [Truncated]
