eCost has the refurbished Lenovo Thinkpad X-41 Tablet PC for $350 + $16 shipping = $366 shipped. [Compare]

  • Intel Pentium M 1.6 GHz , 1GB DDR memory, 40GB hard drive
  • 12.1" LCD 1024 x 768, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, 1x PCMCIA slot

warning to anyone interested, it's really really slow. otherwise its an IBM thinkpad, and built very well. just slow because of the GMA950 shared memory video and slow rpm hard drive.

Should be faster if you're willing to buy a 1.8" ssd. The 1.8" hdd is a hitachi at only 4200rpm iirc.

They still work for me, I use a x31 and it's still going strong. I think it's better than netbooks in term of video performance

Dont buy from these guys they will rip you off and hassle you if you need to return it. Read the reviews

Agree with #3, avoid eCost. As an aside, this is pretty cheap for a tablet if you must have one.

still can't be worse than some of those netbooks. personally i'd be more concerned as to the condition of the battery as the last time they were produced, george w. bush was still in his first term.

I have a T21 cousin of this machine. It's cool if you want to treat it like a netbook-- browsing and old school game playing, but not good for much else. I'm not a fan of the rotating screen. The advantage w/ a netbook is that the battery'll last way longer, and it'll likely have a larger hdd.

These laptops are really slow unless you clean em up (software) even then, I'm almost positive the drive in here's only 4200rpm. Slow as hell. Also known as IBM Stinkpad Razz
