      tempting but with windows 7 coming out before the holidays I would wait it out unless you really need a budget laptop

      REALLY cheap. Great notebook, too, as I really like the Lenovo line. As for OS, Win7 might be available earlier in the year. One could always spring for an upgrade (if a free one is not an option given the purchase date) given the low price of this laptop.

      my sister just bought this model, the viewing angle on the monitor isn't so great. and increasing the contrast didn't help the viewing quality much either. so yeah. partly why this is low costing. I was using my friend's previous generation toshiba satelliete it was muchhh easier to stare at even with the bright sun shinning from the large windows at the coffee shop
