I would love to get a tablet but really can't decide on them. It is hard because the price is so high for the iPad. The color nook looks very tempting though.
Sold out! This was a reasonable deal, although some 10-inch Android 3.x tablets with 16GB (Acer Iconia) and 8GB (Toshiba Thrive) were available for $200 for short periods on Black Friday.
I have this tablet and got it for $350 6 months ago. Once you upgrade the firmware this tablet is a beast. Very fast and tons of internal storage for apps, movies and MP3s not seen in other tablets.
Oh yeah and its the most durable pad out there for sure and buildt like a tank. Lenovo always makes their laptops/pads very durable and not cheapy feeling. Thats why this pad is so much more than the others. You could probably drop it a couple times and be fine unlike the other $200 pads.
Are these thing any good? I think tablets should be around $200 at most.
I've heard mixed reviews on the ideapad -probably ok at $200, but don't know about $280

i love my xoom.
Hard to know which tablet/iPad alternative is the best option. Leaning towards the Lenovo, though.
iPad2 is still the king in Consumer Report followed by Samsung Galaxy/Motorola Xoom/Asus Eee Pad.
And they're all recommended.
SO sad i missed this. oh well...cross my fingers for the ipad!
Has anybody compared this to the Galaxy tab? I was not a fan of the iPad and would like an android tablet to try.
