I just bought this over the weekend. Yet to receive it, but when you look at the specs, reviews, and prices. This seems to be the best Mini/Netbook you can get at this point in time. Others may disagree...but this is the best I can find among the Netbook class right now.

What is the big deal about bluetooth for a laptop? Is it really that valuable?

#4. Big deal is, it sez it hazit. If the description said it had a clown pencil, it better have the funniest wang I see today or I'm raising Cain.

#5 Oh shi... Didn't realize the description said it has BT and yet it does not. I'm just wondering why lack of BT is a deal breaker.

When you can't upgrade, connectivity makes a bigger difference. Also, portability makes connectivity more important.

Reasons BT might be important for a netbook:
      1) BT printers (a rarity, yes)
      2) BT headphones
      3) wireless sync with a BT smartphone (I use this one frequently)
      4) BT tethering with a wireless modem or data-enabled phone (I prefer this to toting around a wireless WAN card).
      5) BT remotes for presentations (I use this for the utterly craptastic powerpoint. Luckily, my phone has a BT presenter program so I use my phone as the remote)

I'm sure there are other reasons.

      6) BT mouse so you won't need a dongle sticking out of your laptop

actually most of the new ultra portable printers are BT. a BT mouse would keep you from having a dongle hanging off the side.

If the only thing missing from this is bluetooth, why not pick up a $15 mini BT transmitter? Just wait for one to go on sale.

Bt mouse is kindof a big deal since it saves a precious usb port from being tied up.
I once tied up number 5's mother. Not as hot as it sounds, trust me.

i bought one of these for a friend of mine when she got her taxes back (she dont got a CC). she loves it and i can tell you that the time i spent setting it up for her i was really pleased for a tiny computer.this is what a lot of people have needed for portability. it not a rocket, but with it running xp it is fast enough to surf the net comfortably and the 80 gb hdd is much better than gettin stiffed on a machine with 8gb ssd. think about that. its also easily upgradable to 2 gb of ram which i've done for my friend, only the 512k is integrated so putting 2gb in makes it recognize 2.5gb of ram. i think its a very sweet lil netbook, she loves it.done deal.

It looks as if the mini laptop did not make it and they are all being discontinued. Target, office depot, and most online retailers are clearancing them out.
