LOL I was about to jump on this deal, a netbook with 1280*800!! but then I realized this had a VIA cpu.
I thought that it beats the Atom at the same level cpu from reviews.

The couple reviews I've read on the Via CPUs is that they can't even playback 720p video without dropping frames, whereas an Atom can.
For normal surfing and stuff, the Via is probably good and possibly more power efficient, but it also may not be as powerful for other tasks so judge based upon your expected use.
