Newegg has the Lenovo IdeaPad U410 - 43762CU 3rd Generation i5 500GB + 32GB SSD 14" Ultrabook (Gray) for $550 + $7 shipping = $557 shipped.
Intel Core i5-3317U 1.7GHz, 8GB RAM, 500GB + 32GB SSD
NVIDIA GeForce 610M 1GB, 14.0" HD Display, Win 7 HP x64
wow i would jump on this laptop deal if i didn't just buy the aspire s3. seem like a good price for that spec.
Darn heavy for an ultrabook.... or is that properly 'ultrabook-type'? At least I cannot find any reference to the Intel Ultrabook platform specification or AMT level. Maybe not important for hobbyist but important in a business. .
@h5678 - Actually, Lenovo's site lists it as an ultrabook, not an "ultrabook-type": http://www.lenovo.com/products/us/laptop/ideapad/baconeries/u410/ Basically, if it has the SSD cache drive, it meets the ultrabook specification for boot and resume time. So, with cache (or SSD), it's an ultrabook. Without, it is not.
