Lenovo has their Lenovo Multimedia Remote with Keyboard (N5901) for $60 - $35 off with coupon code USPC11S26336 [Exp 9/12] = $25 with free shipping. Features a track ball, palm-sized dimensions, USB nano dongle, 2.4GHz radio frequency, and a 10 meter control distance. Lenovo must have a million of these lying around.
I disagree, of course it is not meant to be your primary keyboard, but as a multimedia keyboard for the living room, it is quite good, to make it great, it needs backlighting, longer range, and perhaps easier to press buttons, but other than that, I am happy with it.
Primary uses, include, watching my videos, surfing the web, showing pictures and all other multimedia uses. I would not recommend to office use.
works fine from the couch across the room as long as you don't do something dumb like place the receiver behind your tv. but i would still spend the extra cash for the new model with backlighting.
This thing has almost no range and is awkward to use. Avoid.

I use it daily as I'm a couch potato nowadays
