These are mediocre headphones, but at $10...still a bargain. My son has used his for about 2 years now and the left speaker has stopped working. However he tends to not take the greatest care of them, so I would rate their durability as acceptable. Sound reproduction is okay, with decent bass and detail. Not that great but again, for $10 good enough that I ordered another set for my son.
I have these & problem I encountered is comfort. The headphones are round so if you have anything besides small ears the cushion will be resting on your ears.
I gave these headphone as Christmas present to my son-in-law. Last week my daughter brought them back to me complaining that they sound horrible and are very uncomfortable. She suggested that I should exchange them for a handful of peanuts at the local Amish store! You would think that she should know that the Amish don't use headphones! I thought that I could give them to our mailman but changed my mind because I want my mail delivered. I said perhaps I give them to my neighbor who let me use their lawn mower once last year when mine fell apart but decided that I should not because I may have to borrow the lawn mower again in summer. I had a few other thoughts but each had negative repercussions. I finally decided to give them to my former brother-in-law who managed to rip me off a couple of time when I was married to his sister. He took the headphones and I haven't heard from him ever since!

Does it really cancel noise for that price?
The noise cancelling feature is the mic only, the headphones themselves pertaining to audio are not.
