Wouldn't you know...I paid $407 for mine only four or five months ago. D'oh!
It's nice, but kinda wish I'd put the money toward an Acer W500 tablet with Win7 instead..bacon least I would've had access to all my regular software instead of just these kludgy Android apps. Oh well, live and learn.
I don't understand why people are looking forward to the Windows tablets. If it's not instant on then it defeats the purpose (for me at least)... And if you want it for "real work " then you'll need a keyboard anyway so might as well get a laptop. Windows makes for a crappy mobile experience IMHO.
Ipad presently has the best hardware. The Asus TF300 and Sammy Galaxy are good droid choices. With the keyboard the Asus is just like a laptop with incredible run time. Regardless of what you get it will be obsolete in a year or less..
The manufacturers of Android tablets really dropped the ball regarding hardware, which I have considered to be an Android strength. Now everyone is enchanted by the new iPad screen and there is nothing Android to counter it until months later and with no price advantage.
