I bought Lenovo because the Thinkpad line has always been the best built. I bought the w520. Within a few months, without any abuse at all, the top panel developed a crack which grew. Many customers had this issue with the w520 and Lenovo refused to do anything about it.
I won't be buying Lenovo anymore.
