Huge rebate. On the plus side the store does have a very good reseller rating:

Sales tax in NY & NJ
I like rebates.
I hate rebates
Who uses CF anymore?
#4: Anyone with a good DSLR.
#4: what #5 said, plus anyone who wants a SSD on the cheap in their laptop.
This is good card. If you shoot one shot at a time and don't need high speed, it is great. (although, I shoot high speed, 3 FPS, on a DSLR and it is fine - I matched the card with the camera)
I paid $50 in 2007 after a rebate (I think it was over $100 new at the time) and THAT was a bargain.
Memory and technology crap gets so cheap so fast. I think I will delay all tech purchases for 18 months and buy stuff cheaper from now on.
So a top of the line 42 inch LCD TV will be $200 in summer of 2010.
Wow, $80 rebate.
$80 rebate? buncha crooks...
great deal, too bad i already have a few.
what makes this 'Profesional'?
#11, lifetime warranty, price premium (before rebate) and the fact that the speed rating is not just some imaginary number or "read speed" in small letters somewhere on the packaging.
Nice card...bought it couple of weeks back. Rebate says "in processing" according to myrbaconbates.com
Again, great way to update a 4gb ipod mini.
When that 42 inch LCD hits $5 in the spring of 2016, I'm gonna buy two of 'em!
I have a Lexar pro card, but it has something like a 300x speed rating. Uses UDMA as well. So maybe this is an older generation.
#7 dream on; they rather destroy goods then sell to you that cheap. That's called ECONOMY.
This is a ridiculous rebate for what is now merely average in performance. You can get a 16GB card for under $35 and an 8GB for about half that without a rebate or at least a much much smaller one, or a card faster than 133X.
The $80 rebate is a farce for an 8 Gig CF card, professional (cough, cough) or not. Feel free to jump in if you so desire, but I will choose not to simply on principle.
B&H had them for $70 the day this rebate came out, so I took a chance on making $30 on the deal (you are limited to 3 cards).
Lexar is an outstanding brand. I use mine for DSLR work and nothing else. #18 isn't quite clear on the concept of compatible formats nor on quality... the retail price for professional-level CF cards is about $10/G, less considering there's always something on sale. 133x is fine for most shooters, even at 12M sensor sizes.
#19 - part of the "professional" tag implies quality and the lifetime warranty. Plus, they work in all pro and advanced amateur cameras, unlike many other company's cards.
