Seems to do well but I lean towards Samsung these days. Spendy for a 42". I've been looking to pull the trigger on the 52" 850 Sammy. 09 models are supposed to be out soon. The 52" becomes 55" and naturally has some improvements. If the 55" has a thinner frame around the screen it might still fit my space. Waiting to see what the prices look like and how much 08 units drop but am getting impatient.

Yes, a little more of a price drop and I will be able to watch big screen TV while I eat my dinner of dog food.

The 47LG90 is about $2000.00. It's a great set though. LED backlight and black level 1/3 of this one. The 55" will be much more.
