      any suggestions on this deal? is it really worth the money for 1080 if you're going to be sitting more than 8 feet away? someone please justify this.....

      You don't buy 1080P your foolish, it makes a HUGE difference!!

      Maybe if you sit 5' away. On this size TV at normal viewing distance it makes no difference.

      Panasonic is far better and more reliable and can be had for about this price or slightly more.

      if you don't run BR, won't make a diff. both 1080i and 720p are sold as 720 to remove confusion of 1080p. broadcast is not p

      doesn't make sense to buy 720p sets these days... the future is 1080p.
