I'd stick with Panasonic or try the cheap Magnavox at Walmart.
I'd stick with the great Oppo player.
I picked up the LG on the last movie/player combo deal at Amazon and I love it. No major problems at all, other than with the Watchmen BD and even those problems were really just annoying more than anything. (sound would lose sync). The Netflix interface is really easy to setup and get running.
#3, the Oppo is more than twice the price of this one.

does it stream wirelessly or wired?
For the price of these, just pick up a ps3 for a few bucks more.
Only network connection it lists is a RJ-45 port so looks like wired only.
#7 I think LG makes a wireless adapter for their players. Not sure if this one can use it.
