I thought they were using powered shutter glasses for the new 3D? What's with the blue/red lenses? Old school 3D? So this will work with the new 3D videos? Definitely cheaper since the shutter glasses can get spendy but if the results suck what's the point.

Newegg description says "Red/Cyan 3D glasses for 3D viewing on 3D ready television".

These anaglyph glasses can be used on any TV or display as long as the 3D content uses those colors.

Reviews say this is a commercial drive, has little support and doesn't work with LTH disks.
