So, is this any good? Still debating to get a Blu-Ray reader.
I've been using a similar LG BD-ROM + DVD/RW (not sure if it's exactly the same) in my htpc and its worked fine. Only thing you need is enough CPU/GPU horsepower (something like an AMD 3200 plus a dual core 2.2 cpu.)
Funny. there was a deal yesterday with $10 off that made this $90. One day later and it is down to $85. I guess yesterday wasn't a deal. I also figured I'd hold off until prices came down further. I assumed that would take longer than 12 hours.
