What TV or Blu-Ray player does support SMB shares? Personally I use a WD-TV Live Plus for that because I've not found a TV or Blu-Ray that does. I must say I find the apps on my LG TV to be better than those on my Samsung Blu-Ray, and from what I've read people are happy with Plex server and the LG app for that. I do hate DLNA.
I also use the WD-TV Live Plus works well for SMB, but I would like it integrated in a Blu-Ray player. I've read several reviews that indicate that the LG BD-670 do support SMB and CIFS, but I haven't found anything official.
Based on several reviews that I have read, this player does not support SMB shares, only DLNA. Too bad. That's a deal breaker for me.
