#2, if it's not an iPhone, decent Android or Palm Pre, it should be given away for free.

#4 rumor rumor rumors about Verizon getting this Verizon getting that. All I care about is about the phone service coverage. The bells a whistles are just gimmicks to get you to buy some more expensive plan.

In fact, they should always give you any phone for free, even the BB and fancy iPhone....

My friend has this. It seems like a decent phone, but I can't get over the fact that he can't use his phone in my apartment. I laugh at him while I get 4 bars on my AT&T phone, while he leans his phone out the front door to send a text message. (something about my apartment complex causes interference with CDMA based phones. It must be the frequency they use. Anyone else have issues like that?)
