I have a nexus 4. The missing microSD slot kinda bummed me out at first but google allows you to upload up to 20k songs for free. I only have 6,000 songs, some of them I may not have purchased. Google cloud took it all without issues.

Now, for movie files, that's a little trickier since the files are big. The 16GB model will give you 11GB free space. That's enough for about 2-5 720p movie files, depending on if you will convert with handbrake. No point in DTS sound since you'll be using headphones.

I usually stream the porn from the internet so that doesn't really use up space. However, if you are going camping or somewhere far away from the network, you can bring along another smartphone with a 32GB card and stream stuff off that with file sharing to the nexus 4. If you need more nasty porn than 43 GB can hold, good for you, buy a different phone.

In for one, also ordered a straight talk t-mo sim and $45 refill. Glad to be rid of virgin mobile, although it is has been good for the price I can't wait to get 4g service on a top of the line phone.

The "4g" you speak of is actually HSDPA+ Not quite 4g" speeds, but no less, is faster than 3g. Also, for storage, you can simply solve it by having a NAS at home. And a portable HDD with microusb-usb adapter when on the go.

Biggest advantage is the unlocked portion, which allows you to drop any sim into this bad boy and go. So as #7 mentioned, straight talk offered via walmart is $45 per month. At&t or T-mobile networks. That is cheap, and unlimited everything. Best part!>? No contracts!

I also have the Nexus 4, I'm getting 17mps down 2mps up on T-mobile HSPA+ 42mps network. Another great thing about this phone is that you're getting wifi hotspot built in and completely free, no need to pay extra.

The specs are awesome for an unlocked phone. Too bad all the vendors are getting away from MicroSD cards. I also hate phones that don't have removable batteries. It's so great to just change cells from an external charger on your way out the door instead of having to tether for charging. They'll have to pry my Droid Bionic from my cold dead hands.

"G" is for generation, not a measurement of speed.Although you would think newer technology would be faster.

all the 3G 4G speeds are theoretical. most people do fine with HSPA+, and unless you're doing FPS gaming where every millisecond matters, 3G is fine for most every day use. Besides, there's so many places with free wifi now, it's not an absolute dealbreaker that this doesn't have 4G. in fact, for the specs and price, this is a steal for an unlocked phone at $350 (16GB). it's processor and graphics are top tier. ranking as high as the LG Optimus G and will probably rank higher with a software update. The screen is crystal clear too, more cool than a super AMOLED from samsung's galaxy line. I bought two and gave one to my girlfriend and she loves it. fits great in hand too. not too big like my note 2, and not too small like an iPhone. for the price, it's great.

get it while you can, even if you don't like it, it will resell USED for a little over retail. ** hard to get in other countries where it has a crazy niche following.

Is this phone compatible with AWS 1700/2100 (Band IV) for 3G/4G speeds?

Just ordered a 16gb, like Bob I'm glad to be ditching virgin mobile... Their network has become virtually unusable, T-mobile on edge is generally faster than Virgin's 3g.
