Let's hope it won't be long till IPS performance/price ratio squeezes TN panels completely out of the market. At $140 it's kind of hard to justify gaining an inch on a TN panel to get a 24" for $140 unless you're an uber elite gamer that can notice a minor difference in real response time.
The 14ms response time worries me. Fast action will be blurred. The Dell - 23" Widescreen Flat-Panel IPS LED HD Monitor has 7ms, so should be able to do fast action a lot better. All the reviews love the color depth and viewing angle. I'm looking forward to the next generation.
I bought a pair of Viewsonic 23" IPS panels, and despite being a budget monitor the image is outstanding, and I agree with Dave, it is hard to justify purchasing a TN panel after this. I have never noticed any blur, but I am much more concerned with photos and movies than games.
"IPS"
