Just got this from BB for the same price, although I already have Google Wallet. It's a decent phone. Originally had the Optimus slider but the battery life and low internal storage were both a pain. This is better.
I did not know the new model came out so I bought the slider 2 weeks ago for the same price. I am so angry at myself now.

Fortunately, I bought it from Radioshack which also has a 30day return policy. I already got the RMA # but just wondering if I should get the new phone now or wait for my refund.

I would avoid the optimus. Its really under powered. Also look through the amazon appstore and see how many times an app states "will not run on LG Optimus".
Unfortunately, for virgin mobile users, there are not many good choices out there.
I picked it up from BB instead because I had until 5/27 to swap phone and still be able to keep my grandfather plan ($25/month). After 5/27, it will be $35/month to swap for a phone that is released in May and after.
